About this Retreat

During this 10-day retreat, participants are immersed in the Three Jewels at the Namchak Retreat Ranch in Hot Springs, Montana. Namchak teachers, facilitators, and community partners will guide them to explore Buddhist dharma, meditation, sangha skills, permaculture, indigenous education, and tools for nervous system regulation. We will also experience the gift of being held by the beauty and solitude of the Namchak Retreat Ranch land, which supports our activities and exploration.

Participants will have opportunities to relate to the retreat teachings through the lens of their personal practice, the work they do in relationships and community, and their engagement with the world at large. Anchored in a daily meditation routine, participants also will be supported in cultivating the habit of daily practice and given tools to carry the insights (and friendships) from this immersion into their lives post-retreat.

Who Is This Retreat Suited For?

  • All practitioners, from those curious about meditation to those already on a Buddhist path.

  • And for those who wish to spend extended time immersed in meditation, Dharma study, sangha connection, and environmental stewardship, this retreat offers the rare opportunity to devote 10 uninterrupted days at the Namchak Retreat Ranch in Hot Springs, Montana. It is also an invitation to connect in person with Namchak teachers and fellow practitioners, deepening both personal practice and the bonds of community.
