Join us for our monthly Dharma Talk & Sangha Gathering—free and open to all.
About This Month’s Dharma Talk
Bodhicitta, the mind of enlightenment, is the heart of Mahayana Buddhism. It is the attitude that wishes to free all beings from suffering and bring them to the state of perfect awakening. Though we may find this inspiring and agree with it in principle, we need to do some practice to develop it in ourselves until we fully embody it. This is done primarily through the practice of the Four Immeasurables of loving kindness, compassion, joy, and impartiality. Join Namchak translator and teacher Justin Kirkwood for a talk on how to understand and practice the four immeasurables and the mind of enlightenment.
About One Community
Each month, we come together for an evening of learning and discussion to deepen our understanding of the dharma and our connection with sangha. Led by a Namchak teacher, thought leader, or staff member, each gathering revolves around a specific topic and lasts 90 minutes.
The session begins with a dharma talk and is followed by a Q&A with the teacher.
We invite Learning Circles, meditation buddies, and individuals to join us, and encourage you to bring friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers along to share in the experience!
Zoom Link
Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
Note: We will not be gathering in person for this month’s dharma talk!
