Join us on Thursday evenings for a 6-week online course to rejuvenate and rediscover the deep reserves of vitality and joy that already reside within you through the practice of Kum Nye!

About This Course

As humans, we have the special qualities of the human heart and mind. We have the opportunity to perceive beauty, to learn, to change, and to awaken compassion and wisdom.

Kum Nye (Tibetan Yoga) was created to help Western meditation students sit more comfortably, cultivate relaxation, embodied awareness and meditative stability through direct physical experience.

This course, “The Heart of Kum Nye, Tibetan Yoga” is open to all. You are each invited to join in this six-week virtual journey to rejuvenate and rediscover the deep reserves of vitality and joy that already reside within you.

Drawing on powerful teachings that bridge ancient wisdom and modern life, together we will gently explore how to release accumulated stress, awaken deep relaxation, and harness your natural energy so it flows in support of what matters most.

The gentle practice of Kum Nye movements and sitting on the floor or in a chair between postures will help each of us go beyond the habit of repeating old patterns, so we can become aware of the richness of experience in each moment and see how our thoughts, words, and actions create either suffering or deep satisfaction.

It is a joy to practice as a group virtually. We can embody patience, generosity, and kindness for ourselves and others.

Let’s come together for Tibetan Yoga and recognize the preciousness of human life, which asks us to be present, to care for one another, and to use our lives as wisely and lovingly as we can.

Course Format & Login Info

  • We will meet for six consecutive 90-minute weekly sessions on Thursdays. We will have participants joining online from all over the country (and possibly world!) for a sweet sangha experience.
  • The Zoom link for this course will be sent out in a confirmation email immediately following registration.
  • We encourage online participants to create an immersive and focused environment, free from distractions. Recordings of these teachings will be made available after each course session has ended. These recordings are shared with the intention of making the session content available to those who had a conflict that prevented them from attending live. Live attendance is deeply encouraged.
