YOLO? (You Only Live Once?) A Teaching on Past and Future Lives

March 17, 2026
Join us for our monthly Dharma Talk & Sangha Gathering—free and open to all.
About This Month’s Dharma Talk
The existence of past and future lives is a fundamental teaching of Buddhism. The Buddha taught that we have been taking birth, lifetime after lifetime since time without beginning. In this One Community Gathering guided by Justin Kirkwood, we will discuss what it is that takes rebirth, and what it means for there to be no self, yet for there still to be reincarnation. Justin will also share various stories of reincarnation, both ancient and modern, and see how an openness to this belief can help us on our path to enlightenment.
About One Community
Each month, we come together for an evening of learning and discussion to deepen our understanding of the dharma and our connection with sangha. Led by a Namchak teacher, thought leader, or staff member, each gathering revolves around a specific topic and lasts 90 minutes.
The session begins with a dharma talk and is followed by a Q&A with the teacher.
We invite Learning Circles, meditation buddies, and individuals to join us, and encourage you to bring friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers along to share in the experience!
Address and Zoom Link
Missoula address and Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
